The Crane Valley Partnership

One of the objectives of the Catchment Plan is to improve access to nature for local communities. Many of the sites along the River Crane are open to the public and a number of beautiful walks can be found in the area.

Much of the river has a path running alongside. It’s possible to start walking near its source in Harrow and all the way south to the Thames, although the last part has to follow its tributary, the Duke of Northumberland’s River, rather than the Crane itself.
