River Crane & Duke of Northumberland's River Fisheries Impact Assessment - Pollution Incident 2011

The Environment Agency approved the release of Neil Winter's assessment of the impact on fish stocks after the 2011 pollution incident.  Neil is the Fisheries Team Technical Officer and he had to produced this report in his role as an expert witness during the legal investigation and court case against Thames Water.

The report is written in a general non-technical manner.

You can download the report. Section 5 (Discussion and Recommendations), details the Environment Agency's thinking on practical actions to improve the river's fisheries and may give some insight into the questions around restocking.
