Crane Valley Partnership Strategy: 2018 - 2028

Over the last five years (2013 - 2017) the Crane Valley Partnership has undertaken a number of successful projects funded through the Thames Water Compensation Fund and various other grants.

During 2016, the Core Strategic and Extended Executive of the Partneship agreed that the future development, management and structure of the Partnership should be assessed within an ever tighter funding environment as well as changing policy and regulatory framework. After a tendering process, Rural Focus was appointed to undertake the assessment.

A successful workshop was held on 31 October 2017, attended by members of partner organisations across the catchment. At the workshop the value of the Crane Valley to provide a vision to guide the future development of the Crane Valley Partnership over the ten years to 2028 was examined. The Governance structure of the Partnership was also discussed to assess potential improvements. This was followed-up with individual meetings and phone interviews with individual representatives of partner organisations. The draft report was submitted at the end of 2017 and the final document published at the beginning of May 2018.
