Crane Valley Trail

The Crane Valley Partnership is seeking to establish an unbroken riverside walking and cycling route along the Yeading Brook West and River Crane, passing through five London Boroughs. The Crane Valley Trail (CVT) would in effect connect the area close to the source of the river in Harrow with the River Thames at Iselworth, providing a strategic recreational route and also local active transport opportunities.  The CVT would make use of (but not replace) the relevant sections of the following existing trails: Willow Tree Wander, Hillingdon Trail, London Loop (sections 9 & 10) and the River Crane Walk, linking all the parks and wild spaces en route and enhancing those linkages where necessary.  The project will build upon research into public access undertaken by Sustrans as part to the Smarter Water Catchments initiative.
