Our Mission

CVP aims to: 

• Raise awareness of the river system and its associated open spaces

• Support action for conservation and restoration, including encouraging new approaches to landscape design and management 

• Protect and improve biodiversity 

• Promote community stewardship through local voluntary action

• Enhance connectivity for people and wildlife along the river corridor

• Maximise the use of the river corridor for recreation, healthier living, active transport and educational activities
